Leo-Burger and Rob-Chop

I’m heading to Tulare on Friday to pick up my first two all natural grass fed steers…in the form of 1758 pounds of cut and wrapped meat.

Leo-Burger at the water trough

Leo and Rob lived on 40 acres of pristine natural grassland with centuries old oaks and native grasses.  The pasture had not been grazed for over 10 years.  They grew to tolerate us hanging around and watching their antics.  My goal with the next steers is to gentle them enough that I can handle them.  I want to be able to have them on a halter and lead them to where I want them to go.  Like into a trailer for example.

I’m currently accepting orders for 1/4, 1/2 or whole steers priced at $9/lb.  Please email me at hilarysgraves@gmail.com to place an order or for more information.

I’m currently doing research for a post about the health benefits of eating all natural grass fed beef.  Watch for it!

  1. These two boys of Hilary’s are currently being aged for 16 days. I had a chance to see them hanging – beautiful beef. Can’t wait!
