Working Double-Time

Agricultural mechanization is a beautiful thing.  It gives us the ability to grow food (and in our case, delicious alcoholic beverages) in a way that is efficient with time, cost-effective, and still lets us deliver a quality product.  This photo shows a piece of equipment that allows for multiple-row vineyard cultural practices.  There are two mowers attached to this tractor, and the operator is mowing two rows in one pass.  We can also do other things to multiple rows in one pass with this tractor, like pre-prune, spray, cultivate, etc.  With a picking head attached we can harvest one row at a time.
